This past weekend, a tragic shooting took place during a sanctioned Madden NFL 19 event in Jacksonville, Florida in which two people lost their lives and many others were injured. Tonight, EA announced that they will be are contributing $1 million to help support the victims.

Not only that, but they announced that they are working on setting up a special fund that will allow others to contribute alongside EA's donation. More details on this fund will be revealed soon. EA says that this fund will go to help support the families of Taylor Robertson, Elijah Clayton, and all others who ere affected.

EA also stated that they will have a special Jacksonville Tribute Livestream event next Thursday, September 6 in order to "help bring the gaming community together, and uniting in play."
