A Steam announcement from PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds says that on April 25, 15 suspects were arrested for developing and selling various hacking and cheating programs that affected PUBG. They went on to say that some of the programs sold also included malicious code that was used to steal user information.

While I do applaud their efforts here, I must say that it's a real fool's errand to believe that any online multiplayer game will be free of cheaters.
