After the win, Bungie immediately went after another cheat maker.
A two-year long legal battle against AimJunkies, a Destiny 2 cheat maker, has finally come to an end. Bungie won their suit in which they claimed AimJunkies violated Bungie's copyright. AimJunkies has been ordered to pay $3.6 million (USD) in damages and $700,000 in legal expenses.

in NewsDestiny 2 Cheat Maker has Countersuit Dismissed
A federal court has dismissed the countersuit due to lack of evidence.
A Destiny 2 cheat maker and provider, AimJunkies, has had their countersuit against Bungie dismissed by a federal court this week. In late September AimJunkies' parent company, Phoenix Digital Group, countersued Bungie saying that the game developer broke the law by hacking into the laptop of one of Phoenix Digital Groups' managers (James May). The cheat maker also claims that Bungie violated DMCA law by circumventing... -

in NewsCheat Maker is Countersuing Bungie
The countersuit claims Bungie violated DMCA.
Cheat maker and provider AimJunkies has filed a countersuit against Destiny 2 developer Bungie. This is just the latest step in a long-running legal battle between Bungie and cheat producers such as AimJunkies. This particular tale began in 2021 when Bungie filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against AimJunkies.
That lawsuit was dismissed just this April. The ruling judge said that Bungie had failed to prove AimJunkies infringed... -

in NewsEpic Settles with Fortnite Cheat Seller, Donates Money to Charity
A real win on all fronts.
Epic Games recently filed a lawsuit with the Federal Court of Australia against a Fortnite cheat seller. Brandon "BlazeFN" Despotakis was accused of selling Fortnite cheats as well as in-game accounts to other players. Epic filed suit against him in April 2021.
A ruling by the court found that Despotakis violated the Fortnite EULA and terms of service. The cheats sold include aimbots.
He was also found guilty of infringing... -

...But other players can still see the cheaters.
Activision just revealed a rather unique way they are starting to deal with cheaters caught by their Ricochet anti-cheat system. A new update for the Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone anti-cheat will now drastically impede how cheaters can play the games.
The new system introduced today is called Cloaking. With Cloaking, players that are supposedly cheating will be unable to see other players in the game world.... -

in ValveSteam Deck Now Supports Easy Anti-Cheat
Valve has been working with Epic to get Easy Anti-Cheat working on Steam Deck.
Valve continues to address some outstanding concerns concerning the Steam Deck. One of those issues is the fact that some of the most popular anti-cheat services didn't exactly play nice with Proton or the Steam Deck. However, thanks to efforts by Valve and other major players in the industry, the two most popular anti-cheat services are now capable of playing nice with Proton and the Steam Deck.

Oops.
You ever have think, "Hey, it's 1AM, let's do something stupid!" Because let me tell you, I sure as hell had that thought last night. Let's just say mistakes, actually several of them, were made. One such mistake was the fact that I neglected to perform a full site backup before I proceeded to do several more stupid things. This led to just being unable to do anything with the server.
My plan was to restore a backup from earlier in the week. I decided,... -

in Call of DutyCall of Duty Warzone Hacked Lobbies Offer Instant Max Weapon Upgrades
This will probably be fixed soon.
It looks like there is a new server-wide hack or exploit going around in Call of Duty: Warzone at present. Players have reported joining hacked lobbies in various Warzone game types that will instantly level up their weapon to max level (70) after earning just one kill.
According to a post on Reddit, streamer Dr Disrespect encountered this hacked lobby weapon boost earlier today. Another streamer, TimTheTatman also found himself in one... -

With a new map comes some big changes to loadouts.
On December 8, Caldera will be the new map, Caldera, taking over Call of Duty: Warzone. This new map is quite tropical in nature as it's set in the Pacific after-all, and will release alongside the first season for Call of Duty: Vanguard. Activision says that the new map was "built on learnings from the community."
Alongside the start of the season and the new Warzone map will be the introduction of the Ricochet... -

Maybe just don't cheat in the first place.
Activision has recently updated their security enforcement policy to say that any "extreme or repeated violations" may result in a permanent suspension from every Call of Duty title. Oh yes, this most certainly includes those Call of Duty titles that aren't even out yet but we all know are coming because Call of Duty is inevitable.
This new policy was revealed by way of a recent Ricochet status update. For those unaware,... -

in Call of DutyCall of Duty's New Anti-cheat has Apparently Leaked Online Just One Day After Being Announced
It's already being reverse engineered by cheat makers.
Over the span of just three days, we had Activision issuing a threat against cheaters, the reveal of Ricochet, the new kernel-level anti-cheat coming to Call of Duty, and now today that anti-cheat has apparently already been leaked. Not only that, but Ricochet is apparently already being reverse engineered by "pay to cheat" (P2C) developers.
Ricochet as it is known was announced just yesterday for Call of... -

in Call of DutyCall of Duty's New Anti-Cheat, Ricochet, to Use Kernel-Level Driver
This is about as invasive an anti-cheat as you can get.
On October 12, the Call of Duty devs issued a vague, ominous, and really cringey warning to cheaters. As it stands, the new anti-cheat for Call of Duty: Warzone wasn't slated to be released until Call of Duty: Vanguard released later this year. So, what then were they teasing to be revealed today?
Well, it was the reveal announcement for their new anti-cheat. They call it Ricochet, which is not to be confused with... -

in Call of DutyCall of Duty Cheaters Issued Ominous Threat from Activision
I guess Activision is... rising up?
Look cheaters, you best not mess with Call of Duty devs because they're one step away from leveling up and you look like just enough XP. If that made you cringe, you're in the right place to see even more cringe.
The Call of Duty twitter account issued a weird, kind of ominous, kind of cringe-filled threat to cheaters today. In their all caps message, the account said that "CHEATERS AREN'T WELCOME" and that "SOON YOU'LL... -
