Greene's PlayerUnknown Productions is an independent studio based in Amsterdam. They are not quite totally free of Krafton though as that studio will still hold a minority stake in Greene's new venture.

PlayerUnknown Productions was formed in 2021. Greene and his team are currently "exploring...

The game's setting is almost identical as well As we pointed out in that original article, the developers of Among Us say that were not contacted...

Checking out the year's top 100 games on Steam.

2020 has sucked all kinds of ass. You know it, I know it, people who haven't even been born yet will eventually know it. If there's one thing that made the year a little more bearable it's the fact that we probably gamed a lot more than usual thanks to, you know, everything.

Some of that is reflected in Valve's end of the year "Best Of" list for Steam. With gaming still being big in 2020, here are just a few of...

The Callisto Protocol Announced from Dead Space Creator

A spiritual successor to Dead Space?

Dead Space may be dead and buried, especially since EA hasn't done anything with the IP in years and the studio that developed the games, Visceral, was shut down ages ago by EA. However, just because Dead Space is no more, doesn't mean that its spirit cannot live on.

Back in June of 2019, it was revealed that Dead Space creator, Glen Schofield, was hired by PUBG Corp. Schofield was brought on to lead a new development studio named Striking...

What Makes Video Games And Casino Games Different?

'Online gaming,' to most of us, has a very clear meaning. It means playing video games through the medium of the internet, often in competition or alongside hundreds of other people at the same time. It's a logical evolution of the concept of video gaming, taking the idea of a multiplayer game from being something you played at home with two or three friends gathered around a console, to something you played alone at home, with two or three hundred friends around the world.

Season 4 of PUBG has a Backstory that Nobody Asked For

    This seems unnecessary.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is a battle royale game that came out in 2017 as an Early Access title. In all this time, nobody once seriously questioned why 100 people were jumping out of an airplane to murder each other in remote locations. Apparently, somebody at PUBG Corp. finally raised that question because the game is getting a backstory for its upcoming fourth season.

It is every bit as unnecessary as you are probably imagining it to be....
