DONTNOD Entertainment and Focus Home Interactive announced a special four-part web series today. DONTNOD Presents Vampyr aims to bring their narrative-driven RPG to life via a series of behind the scenes videos for the game.

Each episode will be just five minutes long but will help to more fully realize the world presented in the game. It will provide plenty of behind the scenes footage, plus new gameplay footage, as the developers show off their latest creation. The first episode, Episode 1: Making Monsters, is slated to be released on January 18.
In the first episode, Making Monsters, DONTNOD delves into their signature identity and reasoning behind putting players into the role of a conflicted predator. The studio will make players feel the duality that torments doctor-turned-vampire, Jonathan Reid, giving them the freedom to choose who to sacrifice and who to save. Every killing has consequences, and it’s up to players to balance their need to feed and grow stronger, with the rapidly deteriorating city of London.

Four episodes are planned in total for the weekly series:
    • Episode I: Making Monsters
    • Episode II: Architects of the Obscure
    • Episode III: Human After All
    • Episode IV: Stories From the Dark

A teaser for the series can be found below. Vampyr, the game, will be out this Spring for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

The game is actually entitled Vampyr and it is a legitimate spelling of the name given to the undead blood suckers we have all come to know and sometimes even love. Vampyr, the game, is a new entry in the sometimes too saturated action-RPG genre. And while it does indeed share a lot of similarities with other games in the genre like Bloodborne, , and even...
