Sure, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release of Monster Hunter: World (AUTO PLAYING AUDIO WARNING) is set for January 26, but what about the PC release? If you were expecting the game to be out at the same time for all platforms, you have another thing coming. As it stands right now, the Monster Hunter: World team at Capcom is aiming for a Fall 2018 release for the PC version of the game. That is quite the ways away.

According to the Monster Hunter Twitter account, Monster Hunter World is "currently being optimized for (the) PC" and is planned for release in Fall 2018.

A developer update video was released alongside this announcement, but it essentially says the same thing. I won't stop you from watching it, of course!
