There was always a small part in the back of my mind that continued to tell me that Injustice 2 would end up on the PC some day. With the original release on consoles happening in May, that part shrank considerably as the months wore on. Well, it seems as though that doubt was justified because Injustice 2 is coming to the PC and a beta is happening as soon as tomorrow.QLOC is the developer on the PC release of the game. This is the same developer that took over development of the PC release of Mortal Kombat X after the absolutely abysmal initial release at the hands of developer High Voltage. So that should put at least some fears to rest.
It won't be long until we'll see for ourselves if the game can stand up to the scrutiny of the PC community. An open beta begins on October 25 through Steam. The full release is slated for both Steam and the Windows 10 Store later this Fall.
"Injustice 2 PC Beta ?! I just mentioned PC.... but I meant Politically Correct. Talk about a coincidence !!"
It's nothing to do with what's in the message, it's the attitude behind it, after promising MKX on PC would be on par with the consoles it took A YEAR AND A HALF before QLOC put it straight, with WB shying away from PC ports after an abysmal track record and no PC release announced or even suggested for Injustice 2, we assumed it would never come, but now here it is... accompanied by a snide ass remark from its creator... It wouldn't be so bad if WB had any amount of community communication besides the occasional robot response.
... Whatever, i'm glad QLOC was rewarded with more work after rescuing the s*** out of MKX.
