It's that time of the month again. The time where we learn what the free games are for the upcoming month on both Xbox and PlayStation platforms. Of course, this is always limited to those that have Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus, but you probably know this by now.

First up are the Xbox Games with Gold titles that include Forza Motorsport 5, Oxenfree, Hydro Thunder Hurricane, and Battlefield 3. And if you, for some reason, don't believe me, maybe you'll believe Major Nelson.


PlayStation owners in North America will get the following titles:
• inFamous: Second Son, PS4
• Strike Vector Ex, PS4
• Truck Racer, PS3
• Handball 2016, PS3
• We Are Doomed, PS Vita (Cross buy with PS4)
• Hatoful Boyfriend, PS Vita (Cross buy with PS4)

Sony also announced that PlayStation VR owners in US and Canada will get RIGS Mechanized Combat League as a bonus free game from September 5 through November 7. Another bonus is Dead by Daylight for free from September 15-18 for Plus subscribers. This also includes a 30% discount until September 22.
