VR owners that have either the HTC Vive or the Oculus Rift can now sign up for the Battlezone VR beta. This beta will be limited, but if you want to have a chance at all, you'll need to sign up at the Battlezone website prior to April 13.
The new PC version of BATTLEZONE® is optimized for Oculus™ Rift and HTC Vive™, offering new features such as ultra-high resolution textures, customizable super-sampling, higher resolution shadow maps and Oculus™ Touch compatibility.

It also features all of the additions and improvements patched into the PlayStation VR version since launch, and all of the paid customizable content will be available via Steam and the Oculus™ Store.

Battlezone has been available for a bit now on PlayStation VR. The campaign is procedurally generated and can be played solo or with up to four players. It will be available on either Steam or the Oculus Store "soon."

Oculus Announces 'Rift S' and 'Quest' VR Headsets Releasing May 21 at $400 Each
      by Shawn Zipay

Oculus held their F8 event today during which they revealed two new and very different VR headsets. In comparison to the also just announced $1,000 Valve Index, these two Oculus headsets start at $400 (or $399 if you want to be specific), and that's the price for the full package on both of these.

A major advantage with these two headsets, when compared to the Index, is the fact that they utilize inside-out tracking. That means they make use of headset mounted cameras and sensors...

HTC Vive Priced at $800, Still a Better Value than Oculus Rift
      by Shawn Zipay
Ahead of the official price announcement comes the leak that the virtual reality device, the HTC Vive, will run you $799 (USD) when it's released in early April (2016). That puts the price of the device at a cool $200 more than its nearest competition, the Oculus Rift. And cue the outrage! The difference here is that the SteamVR powered HTC Vive comes with two "Lighthouse" base stations that use lasers to more accurately track movement throughout a room. The bundle also includes two actu...
