According to the latest financial report (fiscal year 2016) for EA, Star Wars Battlefront sold more than 14 million units. On top of that, 15% of all Star Wars Battlefront players were completely new to the "EA ecosystem."

Other highlights from the report is the fact that in the fourth quarter alone, there were 9.4 million unique players across all Battlefield games. EA also notes that they were the "#1 publisher on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One" in Western markets. They also say that they were the most downloaded mobile game publisher in 2015.

EA Sports titles saw growth of 65% compared to the previous year, with over 54 million people playing their various titles. The Sims had a pretty good year as well with The Sims FreePlay reaching 200 million installs.
