It's release day. Rather, it's the day of the week in which most games are released. That is otherwise known as "Tuesday" for most everyone else. I say that this is the day that games are most often released, but that's not always true either. There's a lot of crap on Steam that doesn't give a damn for your traditional release days. We also have Nintendo out there just throwing caution to the wind and releasing games on the weekend.

Nintendo don't give a damn!

I give a damn, though. I give so much of a damn that I'm giving you another NewsBits today. It's full of games that are coming out or just stuff that I would be foolish to make into its own news post. And mind you, I am no fool.
Warhammer 40K: Eternal Crusade is coming to the PS4, XB1, and PC (Steam) later in 2016. You can pretend to be a Space Marine (again), or a Chaos Space Marine (what?), or an Eldar (uh?), or even an Ork in this new MMO third-person shooter (MMOTPS).

• A game called Ghost Theory is now up on Kickstarter. The pitch says it's a "first-person horror adventure game designed and developed primarily for VR." The team is looking for over $141K on Kickstarter with 24 days remaining.

Final Fantasy Explorers is out today on the 3DS. It's $39.99 (the same price as The Witness). A new trailer can be found on a site called YouTube.

• PC Gamer managed to get the Steam Controller to play the Star Spangled Banner. It gets a bit loud, so be sure to keep that volume in check.

Quantum Break, the Xbox One "exclusive," was rated for the PC down in Brazil. It was never officially announced for the PC though interest was previously expressed by the developer to bring it to the PC at some point. Interestingly, the listing for the PC has since been pulled.

• The pre-load for The Division beta began today on all platforms. The beta kicks off on Thursday at 10AM (CET) on the Xbox One, and on Friday at 1PM (CET; 7AM ET) on the PC and PlayStation 4. The beta ends late on January 31.

• A guy named Thomas emailed me today to let me know that his game, Nordenfelt, was released today on Steam. It's a "vertical scrolling steampunk shoot 'em up game with a touch of bullet hell." You can check out Nordenfelt on Steam for $8.99 (a hefty $31 less than The Witness).

WWE 2K16's upcoming DLC, Future Stars Pack, will be out on the PS4, PS3, XB1, and 360 for $7.99 (You can buy this five times for the price of one copy of The Witness). This pack ijncludes Samoa Joe, Blake, Murphy, and Los Matadores. It's included for "free" as part of the Season Pass, which goes for $24.99 (USD; $15 less than The Witness).

Knotmania is a "3D arcade puzzle game about the exploration of an alien structure of rooms inhabited by the 'Strings'." This iOS title can be yours for just $2.99 from the Apple App Store.

• See how music is used to tell a story in Unravel. Unravel is coming out February 9 from EA.

• Insomniac Games asks "What's Next?" in a new teaser trailer. Expect more on January 28.

• Finally, The Witness was released today on the PC and PlayStation 4. The game is going for $39.99 (which is the same price as a copy of The Witness) and has received some rather favorable reviews.
