Everyone probably has a game or two that they simply do not want in their Steam library. Before, all you could hope to do was hide it from showing up on your Steam client's game list. However, you still technically "owned" that game and it would certainly show up if people browsed your library online or if you have any play time in it.

Now, Valve is letting all Steam users permanently remove games from their Steam libraries. This is a very permanent solution for those games you absolutely do not want to ever have associated with your Steam account in any capacity. Once removed, that's it. If you want that game back in the future, you'll have to buy it again.

All you need to do is go to the Steam Support page and log in. Once you logged in, click on Games, Software, etc. and search for the game in question via the search box on that page. Select I want to permanently remove this game from my account and follow the rest of the instructions.

Again, this is a permanent removal of the game. You do not get your money back and you will have to repurchase the game if you ever want that game again. I get the feeling that Bad Rats will soon disappear from many, many Steam libraries soon.
