Sega announced a full remake of the first Yakuza title for both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 last night at the Tokyo Game Show 2015. The game will include added scenarios and cinematics.The Yakuza remake is slated to be released January 21, 2016 for 6,490 yen.
Sega also announced that they are developing a new entry in the franchise, tentatively called Yakuza 6. The game is slated to be released for the PlayStation 4 next Fall. The PS4 version of the Yakuza remake will include a demo for Yakuza 6. There was no word on a release coming to North America for either of these titles.
