As you probably know by now, Sony is holding their PlayStation Experience event from December 6-7 this week. Interestingly enough, Sony Spain put up a teaser trailer for something called Emagon that will be revealed on December 5.
"20 years. It’s a lot of time. Look around you and see everything you’ve obtained. You’ve ruled in infinite places, you’ve conquered and freed. You’ve built and destroyed. What is it? Nobody knows just yet. If nothing else, this is going to be a very interesting week for Sony.
A theory is that this is not game related, but more of a movement for food/nature sustainability supported by Sony. In their blog post they wrote "As you know, PlayStation is 20 years old this week. This is a very special day for us, as we never thought we’d get this far when we released our beloved PSone back in 1994. So we want to offer something for the occasion."
The video says that now it is not a game, now it is real. When the commentator says "I know you can hear them", you can hear some children laughing.
And Emagon is nogame backwards.
But yeah, too much overanalysis, and it will be explained on friday, so whatever xD
Maybe it is a real world initiative to help preserve nature, which would be neat. Maybe it's an educational tool/program that will educate people on nature conservation, etc, or let them donate.
Either way, it should be interesting and I'll try to remember it on the 5th along with The Game Awards.
