Just a teaser for a bigger reveal.

DICE released a little teaser today for Season 5 of Battlefield 2042. This teaser was dropped ahead of a planned larger reveal scheduled for May 26. First off, we learned that Season 5 is being called New Dawn.

The chosen color theme for Season 04? Green.

On November 7th, BioWare was once again celebrating "N7 Day" as has become tradition on that date. As part of their celebration of all things Mass Effect, the studio tweeted out a new poster that perhaps provides a new glimpse at the future of the franchise.

A larger reveal is planned for tomorrow.

Bungie announced today that they will host a special Destiny 2 showcase event. This showcase will air on August 24 (tomorrow) at 9AM (PT) through Bungie's Twitch page. It will focus on the upcoming major expansion for the game, Destiny 2: The Witch Queen. This expansion is slated to arrive in early 2022.

DICE and EA were probably thinking: "How do we tell a story without having a single player story campaign?" The answer? Tell the story within the multiplayer component for Battlefield 2042. Oh, also let's make some short films based on the game that also provide some lore. A lot of games do this, including EA's own Apex Legends, so why wouldn't it also work for Battlefield?

Throughout the day, a handful of Battlefield-adjacent content creators were sent mysterious messages through their Twitter DMs. They were sent from the official Battlefield account to people like Lirik, Jackfrags, Westie, and DustelBox.

On their own their message is disjointed and incomplete. When put together they paint a picture of a fallen nation, or species, caught up in a war they had no choice but to join. It's weird...

On January 21 at 2PM (PT), we will get a brand spanking new look at Resident Evil Village or Resident Evil 8 if you're feeling saucy. Before that date, Capcom released a short teaser to whet some appetites around the globe.

The Farm 51, developer on the recently released into Early Access title, World War 3, just announced a new sci-fi horror title. It's called Chernobylite and it is an upcoming sci-fi survival-horror title that centers around the Chernobyl disaster.
