  • Forge Your Nemesis in Shadow of Mordor

Another trailer was released today for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. This latest trailer shows players how the Nemesis System works and why you might see some "killed" foes coming back for vengeance later on.

Also of note is the "Test of Challenge Mode" competition going on this weekend.
Players can build their legend by taking down an exclusive Legion of Sauron’s forces this weekend through the Test of Power Challenge Mode starting Friday, October 3 at 9 a.m. PDT through Sunday, October 5 at 9 p.m. PDT. Gamers will compete and see the best scores on the Challenge Leaderboard.

You can also get a Shadow of Mordor companion app for your iOS device. It gives you some stats and additional story details.

A largely unremarkable open-world title saved by a few unique gameplay mechanics.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is perhaps the most enjoyable open world title I have played in recent memory, but only if you count the game's second half. The problem is that it takes a while to get to the point where it was a blast to play. The first half of the game is largely unremarkable while the second half makes it feel almost like an entirely new experience. This is main due to late...

Talk about a surprise to end all surprises: WBIE announced the sequel to Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor today. Shocking, isn't it? Totally shocking. The game is called Middle-earth: Shadow of War and is being developed by Monolith Productions. As expected, the sequel sees Talion and Celebrimbor returning as they "go behind enemy lines to turn all of Mordor against the Dark Lord, Sauron."
In Middle-earth: Shadow of War, players wield a new Ring of Power and confront the deadliest of
