Nintendo has just announced S.T.E.A.M., a new turn-based strategy title set in a steampunk universe where President Lincoln has set up a task force to combat aliens. Don't believe me? Here is what developer Hitoshi Yamagami said about the game.
"This is an entirely new title from Nintendo. A turn-based strategy game with elements taken from action games"

"Players will take command of the unit S.T.E.A.M., a unique fighting force created by Abraham Lincoln to defend against a mysterious invasion from space."

It has elements of turn-based strategy. It has elements of third-person shooters. It's done in a steampunk style where steam is your main source of power for your characters and abilities. It has Abraham Lincoln fighting aliens. It's being developed by Intelligent Systems (Fire Emblem, Paper Mario) within Nintendo. I mean, if that all doesn't get your interest piqued, I don't know what will.

We'll hopefully have more on this later on, including the trailer that was shown off. This game is exclusive for the Nintendo 3DS.
