  • Countdown Until E3 2014

Just a small refresher on the schedule of E3 2014 events for Monday:
    • Microsoft - 12:00PM (ET)
    • EA - 3:00PM (ET)
    • Ubisoft - 6:00PM (ET)
    • Sony - 9:00PM (ET)

As we did last year, you can find all of our E3 2014 coverage by using either the "E3" or "E3 2014" general tag searches here.

I will try to keep each conference contained to specific tags as well if you want a more refined search. For those cases, I will try to make use of "Sony E3 2014", "Microsoft E3 2014", and "Nintendo E3 2014" when they hold their event on Tuesday.

There will be no separate section for E3 news as we had toyed with in the past. Why? Because let's face it, during the week of E3, there is nothing but E3 news. We'll probably put up new news pieces for each major conference with embedded streams. During the event, there will probably be some short, rapid fire news pieces put up. After each event concludes, I will probably be hit with a bunch of media and information that provides a bit more details on what was revealed at each event. It will be hectic, there will probably be spelling mistakes, there will probably be some incomplete information as I rush to get things up as they are revealed. It's going to happen.

The Best in Gaming 2014 - Part 1
      by Shawn Zipay
It's Christmas Eve and that can only mean one thing: I've been drinking. It also means that I put off writing my "best of" entry until the worst possible moment.

Let's face it, 2014 pretty much sucked in almost every aspect for the gaming industry. This was one of the few years where the "good" was the rarity. Thankfully, there was some good to be found. There were still some great games released and some really fantastic treats for gaming fans and the industry at large. Be...
