Sony revealed two big updates today for their E3 2014 plans. First up is word that they have a special E3 2014 app for PlayStation 4 users that will not only allow you to watch their E3 presentation, but also earn special rewards during the event.

If you have a PS4, you can queue up the PS@E3 app for download right now. Sony says that by checking out a few features of the app, you will be able to earn up to 250 free Sony Rewards points. It also includes a free 30-day trial for Amazon Prime, a 30-day trial to Music Unlimited, and a chance at one of 6,000 invites per day to the PlayStation Now Private Beta.

You can download the app right now, but most everything on it is locked until June 9.


In addition to this, Sony also unveiled their livestream details and a list of some of the games they will be showing off at their booth at E3. Sony will livestream the full E3 2014 press conference on Monday, June 9 at 9PM (ET). You will be able to watch this at the PlayStation Blog, PlayStation.com, Ustream, or through the PS@E3 app mentioned above.

After their conference, Sony will have daily streams of live game demos, interviews, and new game trailers.
Monday: 5:45pm PT
Tuesday: 12:00pm to 6pm PT
Wednesday: 10am to 4:00pm PT
Thursday: 10am to 2:00pm PT
