  • Newegg Giving Away the 'Ultimate Titanfall Gaming Experience' Valued at More than $11,000

    Titanfall is slated to be released tomorrow for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC platforms. To mark the occasion, Newegg is holding a special Titanfall Sweepstakes that will see over $11,000 worth of prizes being dished out to the lucky winners.

    They're calling it the "ultimate Titanfall gaming experience" and given what the grand prize includes, that description sounds rather spot on.

    The grand prize winner will receive:
    • Custom-painted Titanfall themed desktop PC (CyberpowerPC Intel Core i7 4960x (3.6GHz), 16GB DDR3, 1TB HDD, AMD Radeon HD 7990 6GB, Windows 8.1)
    • Emperor 1510 gaming chair (Valued at $5,950)
    • Three (yes, three) BenQ Black-Red 24" monitors (1ms response time, HDMI, widescreen, LED backlight, LCD)

    There will also be a first-prize winner that will receive:
    • Xbox One
    • Two limited edition Titanfall themed Xbox One wireless controllers
    • Xbox One chat headset
    • Samsung 40-inch 1080p LED HDTV

    Five second-prize winners will get:
    • A PC copy of Titanfall

    You have from right now until the end of March to enter. To be more specific, you have until 11:59PM (Pacific) on Monday, March 31, 2014 to get your entry in to win any of those prizes. There is no purchase necessary, so be sure to check out the Newegg Titanfall Sweepstakes as soon as you can to get your entry filled and submitted before you forget.

        I wonder why this would be listed as a separate prize item? Don't all Xbox One consoles come with a headset? The official rules only state one headset... I guess if you change out the controllers, the entire package becomes custom-made and every item has to be listed. So I suppose in that case, the winner will need to buy a Kinect 2.0 camera (not).

          So either it's different from the one packaged with the Xbox One or this is just an extra headset or it's just pictured and mentioned in the email I got as the one that comes with the system. No idea.

            *Shrug.*

            That looks like the default headset that comes with the console. And the official rules state the quantity of each item (which is one headset). Oh well, a prize is a prize, and it sure is a heck of a lot better than PS4's earbud headset.

            And I know it's a given, and it's in the picture, but I'm surprised the Kinect wasn't listed as an item.

            Also, thank you Crrrazzzy for renewing the domain and fixing the server.
