Though nobody is entirely sure why Interceptor would acquire a sinking ship, that is precisely what they did by buying Apogee Software/3D Realms.
Interceptor's CEO, Frederik Schreiber, confirmed the acquisition earlier today on Twitter.
Interceptor and 3D Realms were most recently in the news after being sued from Gearbox over a tiny little matter concerning the ownership of the Duke Nukem IP.
