Valve launched their Steam Deck OLED: Limited Edition White model today for their popular handheld PC. The White model features touches of grey for buttons as well as an orange power button. This thing is actually limited edition and once they're sold out of each region that is it. It's not getting a restock.
Valve says that they have "allocated stock proportionally across all regions" and have restricted purchases to just 1 unit per account. Accounts are only eligible to purchase a Steam Deck OLED: Limited Edition White model if they have made a Steam purchase prior to November 2024 and are in good standing.
The Limited Edition White Steam Deck ships for $679 and outside of the different color shell, it comes with the exact same specifications as the Steam Deck OLED 1TB model. The Steam Deck OLED: Limited Edition White ships with an equally exclusive white carrying case, plus an equally exclusive startup movie and virtual keyboard theme that only comes with these White models.
Valve also shared that Australia is now welcome to the Steam Deck family as of today. They say that all available models of the Steam Deck have begun shipping to the Land Down Under as of today.
