The seventh annual (holy crap, SEVENTH?!) Scream Fortress event is now underway in Team Fortress 2. It's got some stuff to unlock, some cool new gameplay mechanics, and plenty of thrills and chills. Valve even released a new comic tonight to celebrate the occasion.

In short, the new update includes a Gargoyle Case full of various Halloween themed items that have no Full Moon or special event restrictions on them. There is also the Gorge (Event) map, Hellstone, Moonshine, and Sinshine maps. Hellfire is a new Mannpower mode map. There are new taunts. There's some Gargoyle thing you can get, and new powerups to utilize.
