This is Diablo 4 at its best. I mean it this time. For real.

Returning to the world of Sanctuary for this latest chapter feels like a true homecoming for those of us who have spent hundreds of hours traversing its dark and unforgiving landscapes since the base game launched back in 2023. The release of the Lord of Hatred expansion marks a significant step forward in the narrative that was originally set in motion during the initial campaign and furthered by the events of the Vesse...

Steam Users Chose Some Interesting Winners for The Steam Awards 2022

Do you agree or disagree with each winner?

The Steam community has spoken and the winners of The Steam Awards for 2022 have been selected. Like all of the nominees, the winners were picked strictly by the Steam community. Surely, the Steam users have a good head about them and wouldn't pick something like the actually terrible VR version of Hitman 3 for VR Game of the Year, right?

    Yeah, about that.

The winners can be found below. I have put all winners in...

Games to Look Forward to in 2023

I won't lie. I fully expected there to be far more news to post today (January 2, 2023) given that it's the start of the week and the holidays are "technically" over. What I failed to realize is that a ton of people are still off work due to the New Year falling on a Sunday. Thus, here I am opting to do a little write-up about what games I'm looking forward to in 2023 instead of sitting around doing nothing. Who knows, maybe you're looking forward to these games as well. If I missed some games ...

1 Button Games that are Fun

One-button games have a kind of mystical quality. Given how straightforward their controls are, you would have assumed that these games wouldn't provide much in the way of gameplay. What can you really accomplish with only one button, after all. Nevertheless, despite this significant restriction, one button games may feature remarkably intricate game mechanics (just look at the fully-fledged RPG in this list). Additionally, certain one-button games, like Poto and Cabenga, may really provide players...

Total Gaming Network's 2022 Games of the Year

It is time once more to talk about the best games that have come out over the past year. As the case has been with previous years, this list of games only includes the titles that I have personally played to some degree. In addition, the games on this list are games that were released in 2022 unless otherwise stated for some specific reason. As I am the only one posting content on the site, this is as much a "Total Gaming Network Game of the Year" as it is my personal Game of the Year selection. ...

505 Games pulled a Control on everyone.

For the duration of their Holiday Sale, Epic Games has been giving away a new free game daily through the Epic Games Store. Today's free game offering is Death Stranding, but it's not the Director's Cut version. It was, for a short period, Death Stranding: Director's Cut but that seems to have been a little whoopsie.

    Review: High on Life

A fun little adventure that fuses crass humor with some DOOM-style combat.

High on Life opens strong and just gets better the further into the game you go. It was a game that I remember being on the fence about for the longest time. In fact, I did not even remember submitting for a review copy, but I apparently did! So, it was with a fair bit of hesitation that I accepted the code, downloaded the game, and started the journey. Any worry I might have had was quickly laid to rest within...

  • How Many Games Did You Complete in 2025?
    by Shawn Zipay
Make up your own definition of "complete."

Was 2025 a big year for game completions for you, or were you more of a "stick to one never-ending, live-service game for the entire year" sort of player?

For this, you can take whatever definition you want as a game "completion." Beat the main story? Earned 100% of the game's achievements? Or simply played enough that you're satisfied with what you accomplished and have no plans to return any time...
