  • Short Chainlink Mode Tutorial for Battlefield 4 Dragon's Teeth

Here is how the new Chainlink mode will play out in Battlefield 4 Dragon's Teeth.

As you can see, tickets will count down faster against the other team based on how many points you have control of in a row. From the looks of things, this mode looks a lot like Conquest but with a reduced emphasis on number of points held and an increased emphasis on controlling points in a row together. Sadly, it does look like the enemy team can just capture any point in the chain, regardless if their team controls the point next to it.

Anybody feel let down by this revelation on how this game mode will play out?

Not going to lie, I was really hoping that they wouldn't screw this mode up but it looks like I'm wrong. I was expecting this to be a game type where if you hold a point, it cannot be captured by the enemy team until they pushed to capture a point next in line. All this ended up being now is a more linear looking, gimped version of Conquest.

I was let down by the last new game mode, the name escapes me right now. Hell I don't hardly play any game modes outside of conquest large. IMO they have included way to many game modes which fragments the community. I would have been happy with just conquest as in BF2.

Yeah, I dont know. Im not good at predicting how game modes will be. I thought rush was stupid when I saw it in BC2, but it turned out to be one of my favorites.

This kinda, sorta reminds me of the game mode in 2142 Northern Strike except you dont unlock the last flag.

Again, Im bad at the game mode thing, but this mode would prevent a bottle neck of moving forward.

I think it will just depend on the map layout and actual distance between the points. If this is all close quarters and you capture a flag in a second, like BF3 close quarters, it may not be that great of a mode.
