The physics-based driving sim, BeamNG.drive, will soon be released on PlayStation 5 as an Early Access release. Developer BeamNG reports that the PlayStation 5 Early Access version will have feature parity with the PC Early Access version.
BeamNG puts a big focus on soft-body physics and a simulation of "every component of a vehicle in real time." The game features big open-world sandbox-style environments, a variety of customizable vehicles, and the ability to "create your own true-to-life driving experiences."
BeamNG.drive arrives on PS5 around the same time as the v0.40 update comes to its PC version. The game receives consistent free updates every few months, offering numerous improvements year after year. Aside from visual improvements and other general fixes, this specific update delivers a brand-new vehicle available from day one, local split-screen support, FSR 3 support on base PS5, and PSSR support on PS5 Pro.
