Final Fantasy 7 Remake being first released on PlayStation 4 in 2020, then Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade hit PlayStation 5 and PC in 2021. So, you know, it's only been like five years coming for this release on Xbox and Switch.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade's release on Xbox and Switch 2 today suggests that the entire Final Fantasy 7 remake trilogy of titles will end up on all modern platforms at some point. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is currently already available on PlayStation 5 and PC. Presumably an Xbox and Switch 2 release is also coming at some point. The third game in the remake trilogy is currently also still in development. There is no word yet on if that third game will be another timed PlayStation exclusive or not.
