Sony seems to be all about moving their known franchises over to mobile these days. Sony, alongside Guerrilla Games and NCSOFT, announced Horizon Steel Frontiers, an upcoming MMORPG set in the Horizon universe. Unlike the case with that Ratchet & Clank mobile release, Horizon Steel Frontiers is also coming to PC as well as the mobile release.
In Horizon Steel Frontiers, players take on the role of a machine hunter patrolling the Deadlands. It promises to build on the franchise's "signature hunting-action gameplay while introducing advanced MMORPG systems." There will be "deeply customizable combat and extensive player freedom."
Specific mobile platforms weren't shared but it's probably safe to assume that both iOS and Android are included. The PC release will apparently go through PURPLE, which is NCSOFT's proprietary game platform.
