NC America launched Aion 2 into Early Access today through both Steam and its own Purple platform. Those who purchased any of the Founder's Packs are granted five days of early access to this new MMORPG. Otherwise, Aion 2 will release as a free-to-play title on October 5, 2026.
This early access release grants players access to the entirety of Aion 2. There are no limitations on the content that can be accessed. The Founder's Packs range in price from $24.99 for the Standard Edition up to $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition. There is also a Deluxe Edition for $49.99. Each of these includes a 30-day membership in addition to the early access release period.
Though the early access period is live, many players are complaining about being unable to log into the game or told that they lack access. Yep, it's a launch of an MMO, so that's probably to be expected. So far, that seems to be what a majority of the negative reviews are focusing on, at least on the game's Steam page. If you're interested in playing, maybe you should give the team some time to iron out the server and entitlement issues before trying to play.
