  • Kojima Productions Announces 10th Anniversary Preview Event

    Kojima productions announced a special event that will be both a celebration of 10 years of Kojima Productions as well as a preview of games to come. The event is called Beyond the Strand and it will, naturally, be hosted by Hideo Kojima.

    Included in this event will be special guest appearances. As noted, it will also offer a "glimpse" into upcoming Kojima Productions projects. Beyond the Strand will take place at TOHO Cinemas in Roppongi Hills, Tokyo, Japan on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

    This is a live event that will require a ticket to attend. Tickets will go on sale on September 2nd at 10 AM JST (September 1st at 9 PM ET). Tickets are 7,700 JPY (about $52 USD).

    Beyond the Strand begins at 1 PM JST on the 23rd (September 23rd at midnight ET).

    Kojima Productions says that details about a live stream of the event will be "announced at a later date."

        I'm going to assume the live event is designed the scare the ever living $#!+ out of the audience with meta performances (like a low budget version of a Universal Studios attraction). Probably will have warning signs against attendees with a nervous disposition. When Peele shows up to say hi, the audience will be screaming in terror after being on edge, having no idea that wasn't meant to be a scare moment. Although I must say I have no idea what they can show after resuming development recently after the SAG-AFTRA strike. Did they make enough progress to show anything off? Or will the teasers be other projects? Oh crap, I just realized Geoff is going to be there isn't he?

          Whatever they show off at the event, it's pretty much going to be a live cutscene.
