According to PokeBeach, the Pokémon Happy Meals will soon return to a McDonald's near you. According to their report, the Pokémon Happy Meals return to locations throughout the United States starting on November 5. These Happy Meals will be available until December 9.
These Pokémon themed Happy Meals will include a single four-card booster pack. Each pack is said to include one holographic card and three non-holo cards. All told, there will be 15 different cards available, including six holographic cards. In previous years, the cards offered have always been reprints that were obtainable elsewhere.
Given how obsessive so-called adults can get when it comes to the Pokémon trading cards, it might be impossible for regular customers or those looking to get a Happy Meal for their kids to actually purchase one before they're sold out. If you want to get one of these Happy Meals, either expect to wait in long lines or deal with a fair bit of chaos.
PokeBeach suggests that those buying the Happy Meals will also have a choice. Buyers will be able to choose between a Pokémon Toy or a Pokémon Essential Handbook. The "toy" is assumed to be a card holder or display stand of some sort.
So far, McDonald's has not officially announced any sort of Pokémon Happy Meal return, so take this rumor with a grain of salt for now.
