Nvidia released their GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics cards today and, yep, they're already sold out everywhere. The "paper launch" of the RTX 50-series continues without remorse after a similar thing happened with the late January release of the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080.
For the RTX 5090 supply, Nvidia seems at least be making efforts to fix the supply woes. Nvidia's third-party partners are expected to get a "stupidly high" number of chips, which should theoretically fix the 5090 supply woes in about a month's time.
Sadly for anybody looking to upgrade to any card, even today's release of the RTX 5070 Ti is impossible to find. Every 5070 Ti listing I looked at was sold out across various online vendors.
The MSRP for the RTX 5070 Ti is $750, though only a few models are being sold at that price. The fact that Nvidia is not selling a Founder's Edition of the RTX 5070 Ti hasn't helped matters much when it comes to the pricing of today's release. Many of the RTX 5070 Ti models are over $800 with a few even closing in on $1,000. At that point, you may as well just get an RTX 5080 if you could find it anywhere for its $1,000 MSRP.
If you managed to pick up a 5070 Ti today, then first of all: Congratulations. Secondly, you should probably download the latest driver release from Nvidia that also came out today. The Game Ready Driver 572.47 WHQL driver can be downloaded now through the Nvidia app or through Nvidia.com. This driver's main purpose is to add support for the 5070 Ti.
For everyone else, this is a relatively minor update. It adds in DLSS 4 support for Marvel Rivals and also includes a fix for "driver stability issues when waking up monitor from extended sleep time."
A few other new releases should be good to go on DLSS Frame Generation. Those game releases include Legend of Ymir, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, and Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.
