Jyamma Games CEO Jacky Greco says the powers that be at Xbox "don't care about Enotria and they don't care about you." These remarks were shared on Discord for Enotria: The Last Song, an upcoming action-RPG that infuses a hefty amount of Italian and European folklore into the story.
Enotria is expected to be released on September 19, 2024 for PlayStation 5 and PC. The Xbox Series X|S version would have also been out on that date but apparently the team at Jyamma Games has not had much success in getting a solid line of correspondence with anybody at Xbox. Windows Central shares Greco's Discord remarks.
You can ask Xbox why they haven't answered us for 2 months. Obviously they don't care about Enotria and they don't care about you. [...] The context is open a store page and submission [sic], we've Xbox Series X|S version ready, but we can't proceed with submission and release, I spent a lot of money for porting and they decided to ignore us.
Jyamma Games did also put out a more official, more calmly worded statement on their website. As it stands right now, Enotria has an "indefinite delay of the Xbox version" due to the issues with Xbox communications.
We understand how disappointing this news is to the Xbox community. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts and the hard work of our dedicated team, we’ve encountered challenges that have delayed our release on the Xbox platform. We want to emphasize that this is not a decision we’ve made lightly.
We apologize for any disappointment this may cause and sincerely thank you for your understanding and patience. As a self-published indie studio, your support means everything to us, and we are dedicated to bringing Enotria to as many players as possible.

Now, the Wukong one is perhaps an outlier here as that went from being a generic quality issue, to a rumor about a memory leak on the Xbox version to some baseless stuff about how it's a secret Sony timed exclusive. All of this or none of this may or may not be the case depending on which direction the wind is blowing at any given hour.

So far, the official word from the Wukong devs is due to a technical issue with the Xbox version. The memory leak on Xbox consoles rumor came from an "insider" that "spoke with people at Gamescom." Maybe that's true. Maybe not. The only official word about that one is that the Xbox versions failed to meet unspecified quality standards.
I'm inclined to believe the developers in each case until facts say otherwise. While I'm sure the process is straight forward for those outside devs calling it into question, they aren't working at these studios. They don't know what issues may have come up, be it a technical one from Microsoft that maybe leads to errors with the process, actually being ignored by Microsoft because these are smaller studios, or maybe because of all the people MS has laid off, or etc. I'm also sure as shit not about to go all in on believing most of these "insiders" with anything being said given that they change their stories every other day and cannot even come to a consensus on a lot of this stuff.
