Earth Defense Force 6 is now available to purchase on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. The Standard Edition begins at $59.99, with PlayStation getting a Deluxe Edition for $89.99. There is a 10% discount for the first two weeks of launch.
Earth Defense Force 6 was already released prior to today, but only in Japan. This is the first time that the game was released in North America and Europe. Those that do pick up today's release within the first five months will get three decoys based on the Vtubers Takanashi Kiara, Gawr Gura, and IRyS, plus you'll get the metal-coated version of the "Nix" combat frame. PlayStation owners will also get the "Ranger Boarding Weapons: Blacker No. 6" as an early purchase bonus.
In the year 2024, humanity won the war against the unknown invaders known as “Primers”, and peace returned to the planet. But as a result of the conflict, 90% of Earth’s population was destroyed, leaving civilization on the brink of collapse.
