Fallout London, the massive fan created total conversion mod for Fallout 4, is now available. You can download Fallout London from GOG.
Even though the mod is available through GOG, it will work for both the Steam and GOG versions of Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition. There are specific instructions for the Steam version that you will need to follow for installation though. The Steam install of the mod is a bit more complicated than the GOG version. There is also a manual installation option, which requires several advanced steps that you probably won't want to deal with.
Fallout London is currently only compatible with the pre-patch version (1.10.163.0) of Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition. The team is working on a "next-gen update" version of the mod, but it does not have a release date yet.
The GOG version is already using the pre-patch (1.10.163.0) version of the game in order to maintain compatibility with mods. It's the Steam version that you will need to downgrade, hence the separate installation instructions for Steam.
Today's release of Fallout London comes after a series of unfortunate delays. Some of those delays were the result of internal development setbacks while others were the result of Bethesda releasing new updates for Fallout 4.
Fallout: London is a DLC-sized mod for Bethesda’s Fallout 4. Distinct from the base game, the mod will allow the player to visit the previously unexplored post-apocalyptic environment of London. In a divergence from previous official titles in the series, Fallout: London is not set in America. This will allow the player to explore an entirely new setting, interact with new post-war cultures and societies, and see a world distinct from the Americana of the mainline games. It also allows the player to explore pre-war European history and the effects the Resource Wars had on the class-structured society of pre-war Britain.
