Fallout London, the total conversion mod for Fallout 4, is very nearly ready for release. The latest news says that the team is basically waiting for the green light from GOG.
The release comes after several years in development from a dedicated team along with a handful of unfortunate delays. The latest delay came when Bethesda released a couple of updates for Fallout 4 in late April. The "next-gen" update for Fallout 4 proved to be a mess for everyone, everywhere, all at once. This was true for mod makers and especially true for the team working on this Fallout London total conversion mod.
The new word from the Fallout London team is that the team is "waiting for the final green light." The Fallout London team has opted to utilize an installer to help set their mod up. This is important because the installer will also include the option to "downgrade" your version of Fallout 4 should Bethesda release any further updates that could break the mod.
The Fallout London team is working with GOG to distribute the mod who are in "the process of double-checking that Fallout London and its install work on all supported machines." There have already been several builds sent to GOG for QA testing. Once that "final green light" is given, Fallout London should be released to the public.
