The team at Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio shares some behind the scenes discussions from time to time. The latest episode of their Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio TV offered up some new information on the next Like a Dragon title. Series director Masayohi Yokoyama says that the studio will soon open up casting auditions for their next game. However, while the next game does not yet have a title it was revealed that the next game would not be Yakuza Kiwami 3.
In the latest episode, Yokoyama states (transcribed by GamesTalk) that while the next title is now Kiwami 3 he thinks he'll "do Kiwami 3 at some point."
I can't tell you what kind of audition it will be or what kind of new work it will be yet, but it's going to be announced soon, so if you want to apply, keep an eye out.
