The surprise indie hit is soon to blast its way onto Steam on March 15. Buckshot Roulette is a small game developed by Mike Klubnika that came out of nowhere and made a very big splash, especially with streamers. Thanks to a partnership with Critical Reflex, this spin on Russian roulette will get a fresh Steam release next month with a console release coming later this year.
The premise is simple: Two enter but only one leaves. Instead of a revolver being used, a 12-gauge shotgun is used.
Players enter into "a gritty underworld nightclub" where they will face off against The Dealer in a game of Buckshot Roulette. This isn't just a simple matter of pulling the trigger and hoping for the best. You will have various items that can use to increase your odds, decrease The Dealer's odds, or help in other ways.
There is no price set for the Steam version yet. However, the original release of the game is available on itch.io at a minimum price of just $1.20. You could always pick it up there if you don't care about the new items coming with the Steam release. The game is also very, very short so I wouldn't expect the price on Steam to be all that much.
