The Traitor Curse will add new content across two updates.

Fatshark announces that there will be a free, two-part anniversary update coming very soon for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. All together, this update is dubbed The Traitor Curse and the first part of the update is expected to drop this month. The second part will arrive in December ahead of the winter holidays.

As the Warhammer 40,000: Darktide anniversary falls on November 30th, it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect part one of The Traitor Curse to drop nearer to the end of the month.

Part one will add in a new cinematic that show the motivations and actions of the Moebian 6th. It will also send players to the Mercantile located in The Carnival. This is a new mission and zone coming in the first part of the update. Also included is a new inspect feature that will let you check out player loadouts within the Mourningstar hub. There are also updates coming to the Veteran Talen Tree. These changes include the addition of Keystones.

Fatshark did not share any details about what players can expect in the December update. You can probably expect them to reveal details on the second part of the update closer to the December release.
