VP of writing at Rockstar Games says farewell to the studio after 16 years.
A cowboy.

The vice president of writing at Rockstar Games, Michael Unsworth, has left the developer after 16 years. An update to his personal profile on LinkedIn is the source of this departure news.

Mike is an accomplished writer who spent over 16 years working for Rockstar Games as a creative lead on some of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful video game franchises of all time, most notably Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption. He has a deep understanding of interactive storytelling, character development and open-world game design and extensive experience building and managing creative teams.
Over the past 16 years, Unsworth has writing credits in some of Rockstar's biggest titles. Those titles being both Red Dead Redemption titles, Grand Theft Auto 4, Grand Theft Auto 5, L.A. Noire, and Max Payne 3.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is rumored to be coming soon-ish, so it's entirely possible that Unsworth also did some work for that title before his departure from Rockstar Games.
