But will it be stutter free?

The system requirements for Atomic Heart were released to the public this past week. From the looks of things, the range of hardware that will be able to run this game is broad, which should be good for those that don't have the most cutting edge gear.

Set to release on February 21, Atomic Heart will send players into an alternate history where robots from the USSR go awry and you must use a variety of weapons and abilities to bring that robotic uprising down. Developer Mundfish seems to suggest that even those with some lower-spec hardware will be able to run the game at a pretty decent rate.

In specking with WCCF Tech, Atomic Heart game director Robert Bagratuni said that the FPS expected at each requirement tier should be the minimum framerate players can expect in intense battles. He also makes a note that players with lower amounts of system memory can disable shader optimizations.

It's also important to note that specified everywhere in the table FPS is the minimum one that the players will get during fierce battles in the most crowded locations. In fact, in most locations and game situations, the FPS will be much higher. For example, with the GeForce GTX 1650 graphical card, the players will get a minimum of 60FPS, while a maximum indicator in most locations will be 100FPS.

As for memory, you can play with 8GB RAM if you disable the shaders optimization option in the settings. In that case, you might have stutters when entering a new location. But if you want to play without stutters, you need to have at least 12GB of memory to be able to precache PSO for faster runtime-shaders compilation.
While most players will opt to compile those shaders ahead of playing, it really remains to be seen if this will result in a stutter-free experience. Far too many major game releases on PC have exhibited some level of stutter across all sorts of hardware configurations.
