Mundfish and Focus Entertainment announce that Atomic Heart will be released on February 21. This is the upcoming action-RPG/FPS set in an alternate version of the 1950s and taking place in a version of the Soviet Union where robots and other high-tech technologies were developed during World War II.
Today's announcement also includes a new release date reveal trailer, which I hope is visible below if YouTube doesn't age restrict the embed.
Now, despite the announced February 21 release date, the Atomic Heart listing on Steam has a date of February 20, 2023. So maybe it's one of those games that is a midnight UTC release and it will be out late in the day on the 20th for those of us in North America and such? It's not really clear if that's intentional or it's just an error.
Atomic Heart starts at $59.99 (USD) for the Standard Edition. There is also a $89.99 Gold Edition that includes access to future DLCs, and there is a Premium Edition for $99.99 that also includes an art book and a weapon skin pack. All pre-orders of any version include extra weapon skins for the Swede axe and Electro electric gun.
Atomic Heart will be out on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
