Head to Eastern Morrowind in a new ESO expansion slated for June.

As part of the latest Xbox showcase, which aired yesterday that I was halted from talking about due to a power outage, ZeniMax Online Studios revealed what's coming in 2023 for The Elder Scrolls Online. There will be new content rolling out throughout 2023 that ZeniMax Online Studios is broadly calling "Shadow Over Morrowind."

Players will head to an area not seen since 1994. There is the "Scribes of Fate" DLC in March that will introduce new dungeons. There is the entirely new Necrom chapter in June. There will also be a new playable class, the Arcanist, that will launch alongside the new Necrom chapter.

Scribes of Fate will be out on March 13 for PC and Mac. It will then come out on March 28 for Xbox and PlayStation. Similarly, Necrom will hit PC and Mac on June 5 while Xbox and PlayStation get it June 30.

Scribes of Fate DLC will add in two new four-player PvE dungeons. Players will go up against "the twisted acolytes of the Scribes of Mora in Scrivener's Hall or contend with the temporal magics of Bal Sunnar."

The larger expansion, Necrom, will feature some 30 hours of new story content. You will adventure in Eastern Morrowind with two new companions. The area will feature new zones to explore and quest in. There will also be a new playable class, the Arcanist. This is the seventh class for the game and will "bring powerful new abilities and mechanics drawn from a Daedric Prince in the realm of Oblivion."

There will obviously be more details to share as the release dates for this new content nears.
