Returnal is coming soon to the PC. As it stands, we are expecting it to be out in early 2023. We were treated to a new PC focused trailer for the port of the PlayStation 5 exclusive third-person shooter that dropped courtesy of The Game Awards.

Today, we get our first glimpse at what sort of PC hardware you will need to both run the game at all and the "recommended" specs. While things like the CPU, GPU, and drive space requirements aren't exactly massive, the memory requirements are extremely high. At a bare minimum, you will need 16GB of memory, with that number jumping up to a whopping 32GB of memory for recommended.

These minimum and recommended specs were added to the Steam page for Returnal. It needs to be said that there is no saying what resolution or framerate those recommended specs will let you run at.

    MINIMUM
    • OS: Windows 10 64-bit (version 1903)
    • Processor: Intel Core i5-6400 (4 core 2.7GHz) AMD Ryzen 5 1500X (4 core 3.5GHz)

    • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6 GB) AMD Radeon RX 580 (8 GB)
    • Storage: 60 GB available space
