Warhammer: Vermintide 2

Fatshark announces that the PC version of Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is currently available for free on Steam. The game will be yours to keep so long as you claim your copy of the game between now (November 3) and Monday, November 7.

Vermintide 2 is a four-player co-op title similar in gameplay approach to games like Left 4 Dead and Warhammer: Vermintide. You and some pals will face off against plenty of vermin big and small as you work your way through levels, obstacles, and boss encounters.

This free giveaway is being offered to celebrate the upcoming release of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. Darktide is another co-op title set in the Warhammer universe, just in a far different period of time. Darktide is set to release on November 30 but those that pre-order will get access to the pre-release beta starting November 17.

Don't worry though, because there is still some more Vermintide 2 content coming soon. Not only that, but there is a double XP event running from now through November 16 for Vermintide 2. There is also a sale of up to 60% off select DLC for Vermintide 2.

Next week, Fatshark will release a free Vermintide 2 content update called "A Trail of Treachery." Details on this free content, along with the official trailer for it, can both be found below.
