Moon's haunted, as are several other places in the Solar System.
The annual Festival of the Lost event for Destiny 2 is now under way. This in-game event runs from now through November 8 and offers players plenty of chills and thrills. You will get to earn and wear a variety of different masks, collect treats by completing challenges, and clear out haunted Lost Sectors throughout the system.
New items added this year include the Legendary Sniper Rifle Mechabre, Mech-themed armor ornament set, and even more cosmetics through the optional Festival of the Lost Event Card. This Event Card adds challenges that lead to both free and paid rewards. This is similar to the Solstice Event Card from the previous season. This Event Card offers a new emote, ship, Exotic Ghost, and more.
Haunted (Lost) Sectors are back this year. Players will take on the Headless Ones in special Halloween-themed areas. New this year is the Haunted Sector in the EDZ. It joins the Haunted Sectors from the previous year.
This year's Festival of the Lost introduces Mech-themed armor ornaments. These were voted on by the community, wrongly choosing Mech armor over Monster armor. You can purchase the optional armor ornaments for either Bright Dust or Silver from the Eververse store.
For those that like actual items, a Headless One T-Shirt is available through the Bungie Store for those that earn the Bookworm 1 Triumph. You earn this by unlocking one out of three of the pages for the Book of the Forgotten during the Festival of the Lost event. A Ghost Writer Collectible Medallion Pin is also available for those that complete the new in-game Seal and earn the title.
