The release date announcement came alongside a new trailer.
World of Warcraft: Dragonflight

The release date for World of Warcraft: Dragonflight is set for November 28 at 6PM (ET). This is the date in which you will be able to purchase and play the newest expansion for Blizzard's MMO. This expansion includes the usual new content that fans have come to expect from World of Warcraft expansions: A new storyline, a new location (Dragon Isles, a new playable race, and a new class. Dragonflight also adds in the ability to fly dragons, hence the name.

The new race and class are actually a combo deal. You can now play as a Dracthyr Evoker. These humanoid characters can transform into draconic forms for combat and traversal purposes. Seems like the Dracthyr Evoker will be able to fight from mid-range with their claws and fire breath attacks. Alternatively, they can use "life-giving magic of renewal to bolster their allies (Preservation)." In their draconic forms, they can charge up attacks to unleash more powerful attacks compared to normal.

Dragonriding isn't just some new way of saying "flying mount" in the expansion. While Dragonriding, you have a variety of special moves you can pull off. There is even a separate skill tree for Dragonriding that will improve your skills. Players will also be able to customize their pet dragons after beating various challenges in the Dragon Isles.

Blizzard is also adding in a new talent system with two distinct talent trees, updates to professions and crafting, and the ability to more fully customize your HUD. Hell, they even added in the option to combine all of your separate bags into one "unified" bag when you open your inventory. This used to be something that was only addressed via third-party add-ons for years.

The level cap in Dragonflight is 70. The expansion also includes several new dungeons and a new raid.
