Over 90 gameplay videos have been leaked online. Yes, 90. Nine zero.
Grand Theft Auto 6 alpha leak

Earlier this morning, someone took to GTAForums.com and posted a link to over 90 gameplay clips from the not-yet-officially-revealed Grand Theft Auto 6.

The user, going by the forum name teapotuberhacker, started a thread on GTAForums in the wee hours of the morning. The post was pretty straightforward. They say, "here are 90 footage/clips from GTA 6." They continue on to say that it's "possible i [sic] could leak more data soon, GTA 5 and 6 source code and assets, GTA 6 testing build."

There's nothing too believable there so far. Anybody could just go on a website and type something like that up and it doesn't make it true. The leaker continues on to put out their Telegram contact name if there are any questions and then proceeds to provide a link to Gofile, a "file sharing and storage platform." There, you see a file named videos.rar that sits at 3.4GB in size.

The immediate response from users on GTAForums was that this whole thing was fishy. They thought that this person was trying to push people to download a virus or some other nefarious nonsense. The leaker then posted some images of code written in Python along with some shots of an internal Rockstar Confluence wiki. There was a lot of back and forth between the skeptics and the leaker but eventually, it seems as though enough evidence was posted to make people go, "Yeah, this looks like the real deal here."

Contained in that 3.4GB videos.rar download are over 90 gameplay clips of alpha and pre-alpha builds of Grand Theft Auto 6. In nearly all of the clips you can see various developer tools being utilized primarily for the purposes of debugging. The dates on the videos seem to range from being several months old, upwards of over a year, to as recently as the past couple of weeks.

I first saw this footage through this r/GamingLeaksAndRumors post. It is here where you will find several links to different clips from the leak. Whether or not these clips will still be active by the time you read this remains to be seen. It's also why embedding any of the clips here would be a challenge since who knows when they might get taken down by Rockstar or Take-Two Interactive.

What I can do is provide you with several links. For instance, here is a lengthy description a Reddit user wrote up that describes what has been discovered throughout the videos. We can also provide a link to this Pastebin document that provides (at present, at least) links to Streamable.com versions of these 90 gameplay clips.

If there was still any lingering doubt in your mind that any of this is real, Jason Schreier did the leg work earlier today to confirm with Rockstar that this leak is very real.
