The rumored remake is apparently done and ready to be released.

The rumored remake of GoldenEye 007 is apparently finished. It's ready to be announced and released, but there's just one thing holding that up: The war in Ukraine.

Both Jeff Grubb and Eurogamer say that the remake of the classic Nintendo 64 FPS is "still in limbo because of the war." Both of these sources seem to line up with earlier reports saying that the GoldenEye 007 remake has been ready to go for a while now.

Despite the game not yet being announced, Microsoft actually added achievements for it to its official website. Some developers have already unlocked said achievements. These same achievements were also revealed on the achievement tracking website, TrueAchievements, back in January of this year.

In kind of related news, Grubb mentioned in the same tweet that the lead on the 1 vs. 100 revival for Xbox just parted ways from Microsoft. The current state of that game is up in the air.
