Well, it's got zombies at least. Sort of?

A new teaser for the upcoming Netflix adaptation of Resident Evil came out today. It, um, it's a trailer that much is certain.

Netflix has been working on adapting Resident Evil to a TV series for a little while now. We were introduced to the cast back in June 2021, a cast that includes Lance Reddick as Albert Wesker.

What we see here today sure is something. I'm not sure I would even realize this was anything related to Resident Evil if it weren't for the Umbrella stuff that was thrown in. It looks far more like some World War Z type of spinoff or something.

Hey, who knows, right? Maybe this will be better than the 2021 live-action film reboot Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City. Surely, it will be better... right?
